Nutanix Member of Technical Staff- Networking in Bangalore, India
Develop solutions that solve the networking problems for private datacenter to cloud.
Plan and deliver new technology initiatives that encompass multiple disciplines.
Engage with customers, product managers and support teams to understand product shortcomings and devise short-term and long-term plans, and execute them in timely manner
Build and Qualify network solutions with automation first approach, and analysing the results and working with internal/external parties to achieve the desired goals.
Work with various networking technologies and come up with common infrastructure solutions that can work seamlessly with small to large scale datacenter networks.
Evaluate the functionalities of the latest data centre networking (10G/100G/RDMA) in a virtualization environment. Work with the SW development teams for any HW performance issues.
Good exposure with software lifecycle on Distributed platform.
Good understanding of customer use case and try to influence the products by introducing various customer use case early in product lifecycle.
Help develop product diagnostics capabilities by participating in field failure analysis and drafting customer responses.
Required Skills and Experience
Thorough understanding of networking domain.
Good understanding of modern SDN technologies.
Good exposure to network virtualization techniques.
Strong Scripting/Programming experience in one or more of the languages - Shell scripting, Python, Golang etc
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a product company in a similar role.
DevOps, CI/CD exposure is a plus
