Engineering / R&D at Nutanix
Nutanix Insights is a Big Data SaaS Analytics offering that aims to enable Nutanix customers towards a journey of autonomous data centers. The Insights product provides pro-active support to Nutanix customers by detecting issues early and enables faster resolution for on-going issues. The Insights platform works on a stream of telemetry data being collected from Nutanix clusters and published to a secure processing pipeline in the cloud.
Your Role
You will be on the implementation team responsible for building innovative cloud products.
Full stack development with (Golang Node.js, Python, and Java), with front-end work (React/Angular.js/Backbone.js/Vue.js, CSS3, HTML5).
Translate requirements and user stories into design specifications. Creating well-architected REST APIs using (Golang Node.js, Python, and Java) and Integrating with third-party systems via RESTful APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments. Design innovative solutions for customer requirements with a focus on performance.
Actively participating in Code Reviews.
What You Will Bring
Bachelors or Masters in computer science OR related field of study.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
Strong Software Engineering and Cloud background are required. Experience building web-scale RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in Full Stack JavaScript (Golang, Java, Node.js).
Experience with developing and managing cloud-computing environments like AWS.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Snowflake, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
7-12 years of experience in building/designing web applications.
Robust web application technology experience (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and web standards (HTML5) are a plus.
Experience with (React/Angular.js/Backbone.js/Vue.js) is a plus.
Experience with web Single Sign-on (SSO), OAuth and related authentication technologies is a plus.
