Nutanix Channel Sales Manager - Based North/East Germany in Hamburg, Germany

Job Summary

Responsible for Partner selection, recruitment, onboarding, enablement in Germany. Working with Nutanix MD, Sales, SE to drive sales from Partners and Distribution. Work with EMEA Channel leader to implement the channel marketing programs. Ensure ISR close sales leads, allocate leads to partners, decide on deal registration from OEM and Partners. Point of contact for Nutanix partner program, work with marketing to drive Alliance partner programs.


  • Influence Partners and Distributors to align their business resources to drive Nutanix revenue

  • Regular meetings and business planning sessions with Partners including QBRs to plan MDF spending, business activities.

  • Develop an channel plan for selected partners and drive this to successs

  • Regional experience. Self starter, comfortable in a start up environment


  • At least 10 yrs experience in IT sales and channel management.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.

  • Experience using SFDC and other CRM software.

  • Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.

  • People management skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in managing partners who sell hypervisors - VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix is required

  • At least 10 years of sales and channel mgmt. experience preferred.

  • Regional experience is required.

  • Experience with running budgets and P&L, comfortable in a start up environment, self-starter
