The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join us as a Principal or Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Go-to-Market org. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly analytical, and a positive agent for change.

Reporting to the Director of GTM Finance, this individual will provide end-to-end support to the Sales organization overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting processes. As a trusted business partner to the Sales organization, this person will be responsible for working with other analysts and business partners to create budgets, forecasts, and management reporting. The Principal or Senior Analyst of GTM Finance will consolidate data to create succinct summaries with recommendations appropriate for executive management. As a key member of the GTM Finance team, success in this role will require developing effective business partnerships across Sales, Marketing, and the Corporate Finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead long and short-term financial planning and forecasting supporting the GTM organization

  • Partner with the Corporate FP&A team to consolidate operating budgets

  • Mentor a small team of financial analysts to provide financial support to various GTM functions

  • Develop standard monthly management reporting and analysis packages

  • Maintain and improve financial models/reports that track and analyze functional costs and their impact on the company’s overall performance

  • Prepare sales productivity analyses and provide actionable recommendations to executive management

  • Identify risks and opportunities that drive financial results and effectively communicate to GTM Leadership, and Finance

  • Drive reporting, forecasting, and process improvements, including developing dashboards

  • Provide ad hoc analyses on financial results, key business trends, and current and future business opportunities and risks

  • Partner with multiple functions, including Field Sales, Sales Strategy, Sales Compensation, Accounting, Recruiting, Sales/Corporate Finance, and others, to ensure strategic and analytical alignment, as well as data consistency and efficiency

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a Sales Operations, FP&A, or GTM Strategy role, including 5-6 years of financial planning experience in a large public company environment

  • Exceptional financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced FP&A Technical skills including Excel, financial planning software (Adaptive, Hyperion, etc.), CRM (Salesforce), and analytics software (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, KNIME, etc.)

  • Results-orientated with bias for action and healthy impatience for change

  • Willingness to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo

  • Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and maturity under pressure

  • Anticipates and resolves problems before they develop

  • Superior relationship-building and influence management skills with senior leaders, peers, and business partners

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities

  • MBA, CPA, or other related advanced credential

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $xxx,xxx and $xxx,xxx / year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
