Nutanix QA Engineer - NX Platforms in San Jose, California

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with SMEs to create, execute and maintainwell-structured QA test plans for NX Platform qualifications and new HW/SW technology features.

  • Automate test cases using Python to improve efficiency for NPI and regression coverage.

  • Champion SW/HW bug triaging,debugging and working with internal dev teams to drive fixes.

  • Debug customer issues and help resolution in a timely manner.

  • Apply agile methodologies to testing and automation projects.

  • Collaborate on projects across fast paced global teams.

Mini mum Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • 6-8 years of workingSW/HW QA validation experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience at an Enterprise data center product or services company in a systems analysis or development position.

  • Solid understanding of x86 server platforms including one or more of the following areas: (SSD, NVMe, NICs, processors, RAM, storage controllers and server virtualization technologies).

  • Advanced knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of Agile SW QA release, Sprint planning and execution

  • Solid experience with bug tracking and management system (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills is a must. Must be a team player.
