Sales Operations at Nutanix

The Director of Deal Desk would be a part of the APJ deal desk team at Nutanix. This team is comprised of professionals located in India and ANZ and is responsible for managing deal processes, pricing, and commercial terms for non-standard transactions. The team works closely with sales teams, management, and various internal departments such as revenue, sales ops, legal, and pricing to facilitate the deal process. The APJ Director will report to Dhruv Patel, the Senior Director of Worldwide Deal Solutions. The team's goal is to support sales leadership, client strategy, finance, and legal organizations in driving revenue growth and cementing Nutanix's position in the market.

Your Role

  • Manage and lead the deal desk team

  • Create and implement innovative selling models

  • Collaborate with executives to develop business strategies

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team

  • Facilitate deal process by liaising between multiple groups

  • Identify and recommend process improvements

  • Drive revenue growth through software sales strategies

  • Manage and develop a highly skilled team

  • Train field sales on software strategies

What You Will Bring

  • Expertise in customer OPEX/CAPEX requirements
