Nutanix Advisory Services Architect - Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan
The candidate will possess knowledge of the solution sales process and outcome through the origination, solutioning, and teaming with the Advisory Services Manager for targeted services sales opportunities for use cases including, but not limited to Enterprise Cloud, Tier 1 applications, VDI, datacenter migrations, managed services, devops, and operational readiness. The Advisory Services Principal Architect is expected to bring a strong foundation in enterprise Infrastructure knowledge while working together with the sales pursuit team to effectively design and blueprint technical and business process solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Focus on Strategic and Global Accounts
Assist the sales pursuit team and Advisory Services Manager with new and existing customers to uncover their business objective, and to paint a vision for how these objectives could be met by solutioning a balance products and services.
Emphasize solution-based design via analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product and solution capabilities and limitations.
Propose the optimal solution or assist customers in minimizing options, based on customers' needs, solution specifications, and applicable regulations.
Develop and deliver presentations to prospective customers including solution demonstrations.
Work with the Advisory Services Manager to develop the statement of work and level of effort for prospective customers. (Note: The AS Manager owns the SOW; the AS Architect provides input)
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information
Identify repeatable solutions and work with Practice Development to prioritize, review, and contribute resulting services toolkits
Reports to regional or global Advisory Services Director and matrixed to regional Advisory Services as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Develops strategies, methods, policies, and best practices for Nutanix Advisory Services.
Acts as a key contributor in complex and critical client environments.
Teams with Advisory Services Manager and sales pursuit team on strategic high-value opportunities where a comprehensive solution offering is the key to success for differentiating Nutanix from competing offerings or business as usual.
Liaison with Practice Development and Advisory Services in toolkit origination, review, market need, and optimization.
Develops and cultivates strong customer relationships fostering a “Customers for Life” relationship.
Provides presales support for LOE and coordinates the development of strategic practice responses to an RFP
May represent the company as the principal customer contact and often performs a leadership role.
Primary focus on Nutanix Global or Enterprise Select Clients with typical pursuit value of $150K or more.
May be responsible for achieving high client satisfaction (CSAT).
Nutanix NPP and NPX certification desired, along with relevant domain expertise.
Extensive working experience deploying/utilizing Nutanix and virtualization-based solutions (5+ years)
Prior consulting / customer facing experience, preferably with pre-sales experience
Understanding of validate system deployment
Develop new business opportunities on focused accounts
Project management skills
Strong technical aptitude
Strong communication skills
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
